TOP-5 electricity exporters for the first half of 2025

The TOP-5 electricity exporters for the first half of 2025 included DTEK Zakhidenergo, Ukrhydroenergo, Energoatom, D.Trading and the Energy Company of Ukraine.

In total, 688 thousand MWh of electricity were exported from Ukraine in the first half of 2025, which is 2.8 times more than the indicators for the same period in 2024.

The share of state-owned companies (Energoatom, Ukrhydroenergo, Energy Company of Ukraine and Naftogaz of Ukraine) in the export structure was 40%.

In total, exports were carried out by 37 companies. The largest share of electricity was supplied to Hungary, 42% of all volumes, 25% was exported to Moldova, the Romanian direction took 16%, Slovakia - 14%, Poland - 3%.
