The Supervisory Board appointed Oleksandr Gavva as the CEO of "Market Operator"

The supervisory board of "Market Operator" appointed Oleksandr Gavva as the general director.

The company announced this on January 23.

"The Supervisory Board of JSC "Market Operator" appointed Oleksandr Gavva as the general director of the company. The corresponding decision was made on January 18, 2023," the "Market Operator" reported.

The Supervisory Board of "Market Operator" also approved the company's financial plan for 2023. As previously reported, in December 2021, Oleksandr Gavva was appointed acting director of the Market Operator.

In particular, Oleksandr Gavva pointed out that market coupling in the test mode could start already in the II quarter of 2023.

"In addition to the changes in the regulatory documents that form the rules of operation of the electricity market of Ukraine, JSC "Market Operator" should be recognized by the National Committee as a nominated market operator, and NPC "Ukrenergo" should conclude cooperation agreements with other system operators and the JAO auction office" - he pointed out.
