The Cabinet of Ministers terminates the powers of Energoatom’s Supervisory Board

The Cabinet of Ministers has prematurely terminated the powers of the Energoatom’s Supervisory Board. The decision was made on November 11, 2025.

Yulia Svyrydenko called this one of the first decisions aimed at relaunching NNEGC “Energoatom.”

The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, within one week and in consultations with international partners, must submit for the Government’s approval a new composition of the Supervisory Board.

The Prime Minister also instructed the State Audit Service to conduct an urgent audit of Energoatom, including procurement activities. The materials will be submitted to law enforcement and anti-corruption bodies.

As reported by ExPro, the Supervisory Board of Energoatom included only four members — Jarek Niewierowicz, Michael Elliot Kirst, Tymofiy Mylovanov, and Vitalii Petruk.
