SSGSU cancelled the order on suspension of the mineral rights for the Plativske gas condensate field

The State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine has declared invalid the paragraph of the order regarding the suspension of the mineral subsoil use rights for the Plativske hydrocarbon field. This is stated in the Order No. 872 of the Service dated November 17, 2021.

Under Order No. 662 dated September 14, 2021, SSGSU announced the suspension, starting December 1, 2021, of the mineral rights for Plativske LLC issued for the commercial development of the Plativske gas condensate field in the Kharkiv region.

However, due to the elimination of violations and taking into account the proposals of the Task Force on subsoil use (protocol No. 27- RG/2021 of 15.11.2021); the Regulator recognized the order suspending the operation of the mineral rights invalid.

Plativske LLC received mineral rights No. 5871 for the production of hydrocarbons within the Plativske field on November 15, 2013, valid for 20 years (by 2033). Two wells were drilled at the field - appraisal well No. 1 with a depth of 4,650m, and parametric well No. 614 - with a depth of 4,550m - which recovered the gas-bearing layers associated with the Serpukhovian stage at 4,048-4,595m. Now both wells are waiting for CWO.

Plativske LLC (head is Ihor Semperovych, and the founders are Vitaly Bonk through Naftogasburinnya LLC (75%), Oleksiy Kostyukov(10%), and Andriy Baran (15%)) is a Kharkiv private production company that develops the Plativske gas condensate field.
