Special permit for development of Svistunkivsko-Chervonolutske field declared invalid - Ukrnafta

The District Administrative Court of Kyiv (DACK) ruled to invalidate a special permit for the development of the Svistunkivsko-Chervonolutske gas field. This was reported by the press service of the PJSC Ukrnafta, which had a special permit from 2004 until 2014.

The court decision annulled the decision of the State Commission of Ukraine on Mineral Resources (SCUMR) under the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine (SSGSU) from September 28, 2016, which unlawfully merged Svistunkivske and Chervonolutske fields, and annulled the decision of the SSGSU dated November 22,2016, which put into effect the decision of the SCUMR.

Also, the SSGSU’s Order №217 of May 15, 2017 on granting Arkona Gas-Energy LLC for 20 years a special permit for the use of subsoil Svistunkovsko-Chervonolutske field was revoked.

In addition, the Special Permit № 4830 dated May 18, 2017, granted to the Arkona Gas-Energy LLC for the Svistunkivsko-Chervonolutske field, was invalided by the SSGSU, which also took part in the case hearings, and stated on the lawfulness of its decision
