Sergiy Koretskyi headed Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta

Sergiy Koretskyi became the new head of Ukrnafta PJSC and Ukrtatnafa PJSC, according to Youcontrol data.

As reported by ExPro, at a meeting on November 6, the NSSMC made a decision to ensure the forced alienation of the shares of Ukrnafta PJSC and Ukrtatnafta PJSC into the ownership of the Ministry of Defense.

Until that time, the state, represented by Naftogaz, owned 50% + 1 share in Ukrnafta. At the same time, the oligarch Igor Kolomoiskyi through his company owned about 42% of the shares.

Ukrnafta is the largest oil production company in Ukraine. According to ExPro, during the 10 months of 2022, the company produced more than 1.1 million tons of oil and gas condensate.

Igor Kolomoiskyi and Gennadiy Bogolyubov owned 60% of the shares in Ukrtatnafta. Naftogaz owned the remaining shares in the amount of 40%. The key asset of Ukrtatnafta is the Kremenchuk Oil Refinery.

One may remind, the day before Ukrnafta announced that the central office was blocked by unknown persons, the Security Service of Ukraine carried out preventive measures to prevent destabilization of the Ukrtatnafta's Kremenchuk oil refinery.
