Oleksandr Romanyuk told about UGV partnership projects
Attracting foreign investment and advanced technologies for field development will allow increasing the resource base of Ukrgasvydobuvannya in the medium term, the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Company Oleksandr Romanyuk told.
“Our existing resource base is depleted, therefore we need new fields with new pressures,” Oleksandr said. “We also need to work with complex reserves, such as tight gas, which we did not do before. We work under legal restrictions and attract new partners, which have won production sharing agreements’ tenders,” Romanyuk said.
“Another area of the potential cooperation with investors is unconventional gas fields. Here we are also open and looking for partners, which have the appropriate financial resources and work experience. It is necessary to ensure that the blue fuel from such fields can be recovered not in 50 years, but in 5-10 years. Of course, we will invest own money as well, but we want to reduce the risks by attracting foreign investors," Oleksandr Romanyuk said.
