Nosov is suspected of trying to provide a $200,000 bribe in the case of Kiperman and United Energy

NAСBU and SAP exposed a lawyer for offering to give a $200,000 bribe to a detective and a prosecutor in the case of the United Energy scheme worth more than UAH 700 million, organized by Mykhailo Kiperman.

It is about Oleksiy Nosov, a lawyer at the Miller law firm, ExPro reports.

As indicated in the anti-corruption body, the lawyer offered these funds to the prosecutors of the SAP and NAСBU detectives for the decision to transfer the criminal proceedings against his client in the case of the acquisition of electric energy of PJSC NPC Ukrenergo and the legalization of the funds received from its sale in the amount of UAH 716 million to another body of pre-trial investigation. According to the decision of the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court searches are conducted at the lawyer's workplace and at his place of residence.

The lawyer's actions are qualified under Part 3 of Art. 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As previously reported, NACBU and SAP exposed the scheme of taking over the electric energy of PJSC NPC Ukrenergo and legalizing the funds received from its sale. The amount of damages is more than UAH 716 million.

The person who organized the arrangement, an ex-official of Ukrenergo, the chairman of the board of the Alliance Bank and the director of United Energy, were informed about the suspicion.
