Energorynok State Enterprise buys software to manage day-ahead and intra-day power market operations

Energorynok State Enterprise bought from Slovakia-based Sfera A. S. €1,97MM worth software to manage day-ahead and intra-day market operations in Ukraine, as reported on the Prozorro online procurement platform.

The final decision of the tender board to recognize Sfera A. S. as winner of the procurement was released on September 25, 2018. Energorynok and Sfera A. S. officially concluded the procurement contract on October 10, 2018, according to which Sfera A. S. shall work out the software and render its aftersale support.

The cost of services for implementation the software, according to the contract, is valued at €788M, recommendations as to amendments of regulations and business processes in the structure of the market operator – at €118.2M, installation and setup services – at €591M, training of software operstors -at €78.8M, and and aftersale support and maintenance – at €1,182 M. The procurement contract will last until June 30, 2022.

The only competitor to Sfera A. S. in this tender was the Netherlands-based Soops Investment, whose bid proposal was of €1.984 MM.
