Naftogasburinnya has successfully drilled its first natural gas well

Naftogasburinnya LLC has successfully drilled its first Well № 312 at Maynitsky gas field in Sambir district of Lviv region. The design depth of the well is 3 350 meters. Drilling was done with ZJ 40 drilling rig with the hook capacity of 225 tons.

The drilling works were in complicated geology, that tested to the full this drilling rig’s ability to operate in tough environment.

"The drilling works has been completed, and the demobilization of the drilling rig and its ancillary equipment has been accomplished shortly. Currently, our company has been studying proposals for improvement of our technical capacity, in particular, with the purchase of 1,300 hp drill pumps," said Mr. Vitaliy Bonk, Director of Naftogazburiny LLC.

The drilling works were jointly carried out Navigator Komplekt LLC, which has a special permit № 4769 from 27/04/2016 for the development of Maynitskaya gas field.

EXPRO Reference: Naftogazburiny LLC was established in December 2016. In 2017, they bought a mobile drill rig ZJ 40 made by Tianjin Dong Fang Xianke Petroleum (China). The rig can drill wells up to 4,000 meter deep and do workovers on wells with depths up to 6,000 meters. The ZJ 40 drilling rig has the following specifications: 225 ton hook capacity, Heavy duty drill 225 t, winch 1 000 HP drawwork, Caterpillar C18, two F800 drill pumps, 356 kW Volvo Penta diesel power unit, and 700 atm BOP system.

The technical base and warehouse of the company is located in the town of Sambir, Lviv region.
