MGU terminated the powers of the general director of GTSOUA Sergiy Makogon

Mahistralni Gazoprovody Ukrainy JSC (Main Gas Pipelines of Ukraine or MGU) at the meeting on September 16, 2022, by the decision of the sole participant of Operator GTS of Ukraine LLC (GTSOUA), terminated the powers of the General Director of GTSOUA Sergiy Makogon. The press service of MGU reported this.

It is reported that the Supervisory Board also had to determine the candidacy for the post of Acting Director of GTSOUA.

Currently, the decision of MGU must be approved by the Government of Ukraine.

It should be noted that during the last months, information about the dismissal of Sergiy Makogon from the post of General Director of GTSOUA repeatedly appeared in the media.

Makogon commented on the termination of his powers on his Facebook page: "While on a business trip, I unexpectedly learned that MGU dismissed me last Friday. 4 votes against 1. Until I understood for what reasons."
