Iberdrola will sell 757 MW of onshore RES assets in France to Technique Solaire
с
The agreement includes:
- 118 MW of operating wind power plants
- 639 MW of projects under development, including onshore wind and solar photovoltaic generation
Iberdrola stated that despite the sale of the onshore portfolio, the company will maintain its strategic presence in the French market, primarily in the offshore wind sector.
The key asset remains the offshore wind farm Saint Brieuc with a capacity of 496 MW, which was commissioned in 2024.
Iberdrola obtained the onshore assets in 2020 after acquiring the French developer Aalto Power.
