ESKO-Pivnich has commissioned an ultra-deep well of the Kubashivska area with a flow rate of 100 tcm
ESKO-Pivnich Energy Service Company LLC has commissioned well #1 with a depth of 6,620 m on the Kubashivska area in the Kharkiv region. This is the deepest well of the company, ESKO-Pivnich noted on its website.
According to the report, at a depth of 6,620 m, a significant inflow of hydrocarbons was received and exceeded 100 tcm of gas per day.
"Ukraine has a significant potential for gas production at depths more than 6,000 m. Therefore, we are working on deep horizons and are developing this direction as one of the strategic ones. However, drilling wells at great depths is associated with significant geological and technical risks; it requires special attention, significant effort, and investment. We are ready for this, because the produced hydrocarbons not only contribute to the development of our company but increase the energy security and energy independence of Ukraine," Taras Burdeny, General CEO of ESKO-Pivnich Energy Service Company said.
