DTEK Naftogaz will drill 6 wells at Semyrenkivske field in the next 2 years

DTEK Naftogaz will drill 6 appraisal wells at the Semyrenkivske field within two years. The expected increase in reserves is 4 bcm of gas. This was stated by the Exploration and Development Director of DTEK Naftogaz Ivan Hafych, quoted by the press service.

The company is engaged in the near-field appraisal of the fields and unlocking their undiscovered potential during the entire life-cycle of the fields. Due to this, in 2014- 2020, at the Semyrenkivske field, an increase in gas reserves of 7.1 bcm meters was achieved, 4.5 bcm of them were booked through the use of new geological exploration technologies.

In the course of additional exploration of hydrocarbon deposits of the Semyrenkivske field, over 27 bcm of gas resources from marginal zones and deep horizons were also identified. Now they are being researched and prepared for development
