DTEK Naftogaz purchased Budyschansko-Chutivska area for UAH 650.5 million

Naftogaz Georozvidka, a member of the group of companies DTEK Naftogaz won the electronic auction of Derzhheonadra for the purchase of Budyschansko-Chutivska area, in the Poltava region, at UAH 650.5 million at the starting price of UAH 81.5 million (585% more). This will be reported in the ProZorro public sales system. Sales will be performed through the platform of the Ukrainian energy exchange.

The footage of this area is 174.89 sq km. The special permit was granted for 20 years for geological study, pilot development and subsequent production of oil, natural gas and condensate. 5 companies participated in this auction:

Three gas fields with total reserves and resources of more than 26 million tonnes of reference fuel have already been discovered within the area. At a time, most of the subsoil areas put up for auction require exploration and identification of confirmed resources
