Draft resolution on setting the electricity transmission tariff for 2025 at 665.26 UAH/MWh is approved

The regulator approved a draft resolution on setting the electricity transmission tariff for 2025 at 665.26 UAH/MWh, which is 25.8% more than the tariff for the current year. The relevant draft resolution was considered for approval at a meeting on November 13, ExPro reports.

Approval of the draft resolution provides for further discussion of the project, its adoption will take place later.

“The price of electricity sales from renewable energy sources requires additional discussions and consideration in the tariff for 2025. I would also suggest additionally discussing the price of electricity for the purchase of technological losses, set for next year,” said Oleh Skrypnyk, member of the board of NPC Ukrenergo.

The transmission tariff for green metallurgy is planned to be set at 352.73 UAH/MWh. The costs of performing special duties for 2025 are forecast at 30 billion UAH, which is 46% of all costs of the transmission system operator under the transmission tariff.

The regulator approved draft resolutions on setting the tariff for dispatching (operational and technological) management services at 95.07 UAH/MWh, which is 10% less than the current one.

Also, draft resolutions on setting electricity distribution tariffs for the next year were approved. On average, tariffs for DSOs may increase by 19%.
