Croatian Crosco Integrated Drilling & Well Services Ltd started drilling 3 new wells in the Poltava region under the contracts with Ukrgasvydobuvannya PJSC, which was concluded in 2017 under the results of the tender held on ProZorro.
This is the first in Ukrgasvydobuvannya’s history project, implemented by a foreign contractor using modern drilling equipment and international drilling practices.
Cooperation of Ukrgasvydobuvannya with Crosco involves drilling of 12 wells. The total cost of works is € 47 million.
Currently Crosco has finished drilling of 2 wells in Yablunivske field and drilling 2 new wells on the same. Drilling of the first well by Crosco was started at Lannivske gas condensate field.
According to Mikhaylo Paduchak, the head of the drilling department in UGV, this project is the evidence of a fundamental transformation of the organizational processes in drilling in the company, aimed at accelerating the drilling process and increasing production from drilling the new wells. In addition to Crosco drilling contractor, the company has attracted more than 20 local and international service contractors, which positively affects the quality of the Ukrainian oil service market, contributes to job creation and the development of oil and gas infrastructure in the work regions.
