Andrii Zahorodniuk of Discovery DE has appointed Minister of Defense

Andriy Zagorodniuk, CEO of Discovery Drilling Equipment was appointed the Defense Minister of Ukraine at the first session of the Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation on August 29. In 2015, Andrii Zagorodniuk headed the Reform Project Office at the Defense Minister of Ukraine and held this position until 2017.

Since June 26, 2018 he is a member of the Reforms Project Office under Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Since July 5, 2019 he has been an adviser to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

He has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Ukroboronprom since July 9, 2019. Andriy Zagorodniuk is the manager and owner of Discovery Drilling Equipment. Discovery Drilling Equipment LLC (Ukraine), the only drilling rig manufacturer in Ukraine.
