NEURC has changed the approach to determining the minimum fee for gas distribution for household consumers
From October 1, 2023, the National Commission for State Regulation in the Energy and Utilities Sector (NEURC) introduced changes in the approach to determining the minimum size of the annual ordered capacity for household consumers whose gas supply has been completely or partially stopped. This was reported by the press service of the NEURC.
From now on, when determining the minimum volumes of annual ordered capacity, only functioning gas equipment of a household consumer that has not been sealed is considered.
The corresponding decision was made at an open meeting of the NEURC, which took place on September 12, 2023. According to the NEURC, these changes contribute to reducing the financial burden on household consumers, whose consumption was at a minimal level during the previous gas year.
