Ukrnaftoburinnya commissioned 5th well in a year
Ukrnaftoburinnya PJSC (UNB) has put into operation well No. 42 at Sakhalinske field with a depth of 4,868 m and an initial daily natural gas rate of 158 thousand cubic meters; condensate rate is 19.4 tons, the press service of the company reports.
Commercial production of gas and condensate was reported after testing of B-22 horizon. The drilling and casing of the well was performed from Canadian NOV 2000 HP DC drilling rig equipped with a top drive system. The drilling period for the well was 132 days, which is 10 days less than the designed term, the company notes.
Traditionally, Ihor Stefanyshyn’s Ukrburservice Drilling Company was the general contractor in the construction of the well. In the process of drilling and casing setting the equipment and services of well-known foreign companies includingVoestalpine Tubulars GmbH & Co KG, Smith Bits, Weatherford Ukraine, LGH Inc., Exlalo Drilling Ukraine, NewTech Ukraine, and Denimex Ukraine, were used, the press service reported.
This is the second well (after No. 32 at the Sakhalinske OGCF) in a year, which was successfully drilled with the help of NOV2000 HP DC rig, and involvement of the Ukrburservice drilling contractor.
