Ukrnafta plans to renew production at Sahaidatske and Seredniakivske fields
Ukrnafta PJSC, represented by Poltavanaftogaz OGPD, plans to resume production at Sahaidatske and Seredniakivske fields, located in Poltava region. This is stated in the reports of companies listed in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) registry of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine, published on May 17, 2019.
According to the report, Poltavanaftogaz plans to continue its hydrocarbon production at Sahaidatske and Seredniakivske fields, and to operate the relevant equipment. Also, it is provided for commercial development of deposits by the existing wells’ stock.
Planned production activities at the Seredniakivske field include the following: gas and condensate production with the reduction of pressure with the use of compressors, collection, transportation and preparation of extracted products at Kharkivtsi IGDP and their delivery to consumers.
At Sahaidatske field, they plan to continue the production of oil with the change of pumps size and range. And also, the set of existing oil and gas industrial facilities will be used for the complex production of dissolved gas and oil. These are wells and their working lines, and oil and gas-metering separation units (OGMSU).
Seredniakivske gas condensate field was discovered in 1996. The area of the license is 5,06 square kilometres. There are 4 wells drilled in the field, of which: 3 prospecting and 1 exploration well. As of January 01, 2019, the Seredniakivske field operational stock consists of one gas well, the others are abandoned.
Sahaidatske oil and gas field was discovered in 1952. The area of the license is 1.32 square kilometres. As of January 01, 2019, there were 29 wells registered at Sahaidatske field: operating oil wells - 2, operating disposal well - 1, inactive disposal well - 1. Twenty-two wells were abandoned after drilling, and 3 – after operation.
