Ukrgasvydobuvannya plans to drill well No. 529 at the West Khrestyschenske field
Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC plans to drill and complete a production well No. 529 of the West Khrestyschenske gas condensate field (GCF). This is reported in the register of EIA on July 2, 2020.
It is planned that the specified well with a depth of 3,550 m will be drilled with a rig with a diesel-electric drive with a capacity of up to 7,000 kW, using rotary and turbine method, with the casing of the wellbore with high-pressure casing pipes.
According to planned activities, the connection of well No. 529 of West Khrestyschenske GCF will be carried out with wellhead piping and laying of a gas flare line to a distance of 10 000m to the station of HC treatment. Expected volumes of natural gas production range from 15 thousand cubic meters a day to 70 thousand cubic meters a day.
Recall, that Wes Khrestyschenske GCF is one of the largest gas fields of Ukrgasvydobuvannya; it is located in the Kharkiv region, the estimated level of its depletion is 90%. It was discovered in 1952, and in 1968, a gas inflow with a flow rate of 1,038 thousand cubic meters a day was obtained. Initial recoverable gas reserves were estimated at 335,100 million cubic meters, and condensate – 13,289 thousand tonnes.
