Ukrgasvydobuvannya has reduced gas production by 5.2%, to 7.9 bcm in 7 months of 2021

Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC in January-July 2021 reduced natural gas production by 5.2% or 0.437 bcm compared to the same period last year - to 7.9 bcm, the press service reports.

The deviation from the production plan is minus 1.6% or 0.125 bcm of gas.

At the same time, gas supply for 7 months of 2021 decreased by 5.1% or 0.406 bcm - to 7.5 bcm, which is 0.7% or 0.051 bcm less than the production plan.

In July of this year, UGV produced 1.144 bcm of natural gas (-4.8%, or 57.5 mcm compared to the same period last year) and supplied 1.088 bcm of gas (-4.5%, or 50.8 mcm).

Within 7 months, commissioning of 25 new wells, 80 capital workovers, 321 coiled tubing operations, 71 hydraulic fracturing operations, and 9 sidetracking operations were performed. During all this time, 197 highrate wells have been equipped with a remote monitoring system.

Recall that according to ExPro data natural gas production in Ukraine in January-July 2021 decreased by 4%, to 11.9 bcm compared to the same period last year.
