Ukrainian electricity exports for the first 2 months of 2019 grew by 4.1% up to 1 billion kWh
In January-February 2019, Ukraine exported 1,075 billion kWh to the EU and Moldova, that was 4,1% more than in January-February 2018, as reported by SE "NEC" Ukrenergo".
In February 2019, exports grew by 4.3%, to 563.5 million kWh. During this month, 320.1 million kWh were exported to Hungary, 142.1 million kWh to Poland, 70.8 million kWh to Moldova, 16.2 million kWh to Slovakia, and 14.3 million kWh. million kWh. to Romania.
In January-February 2019, Ukrainian imports of electricity from Russia and Belarus dropped to 3.5 million kWh,or 43.4% less than in January-February 2018.
As we earlier reported, Ukraine in 2018 exported 6.166 billion kWh of electricity to EU and Moldova, that was 19.36% more than in 2017.In money value the 2018 nation’s electricity exports totaled USD 331.94 million, or 40.9% more than in 2017.
