Ukraine Increased Electricity Export Proceeds by 22% to $98,4 Million for 3 Months

Ukraine increased the proceeds from electricity export to the EU and Moldova by 22% to $98,4 million for January-March 2019 compared to the same period of 2018. It was showed in the State Fiscal Service’s data.

Over the reporting period the income from export to Hungary rose by 12,9% to $58 million, to Poland - by 16,5% to $22,1 million, to Moldova - by 68,3% to $13,6 million.

During January-March 2019 Ukraine exported electricity valued at $4,6 million.

As ExPro reported, in 2019 Ukraine exported 6,161 billion kWh to the EU and Moldova, the volume was higher than in 2018 by 19,2%. The export proceeds in 2019 compared to 2018 increased by 40,93% to $331,94 million. Over January-February 2019 the export was up by 4,5% to 1,079 billion kWh (by 30,4% to $64,8 million in monetary terms).
