Ukraine decreased coal production in January by 2,2% - to 2,6 million tons

Ukrainian coal mines decreased coal production by 2,2% to 2,6 million tons in January, 2019 compared to January, 2018.

According to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, state-ruled mines were down the coal production by 17,5% to 0,33 million tons in January, 2019. At the same time other mines increased production by 0,44% to 2,27 million tons.

As previously ExPro reported, Ukraine rose coal production by 0,9% to 33,29 million tons in 2018 in comparison with 2017.
