Ukraine consumes 1.4 % less of gas in July of 2018
In July of 2018 Ukraine consumed 1,276 mil cbm, that is 17 mil cbm (or 1.4 %) less than in July of 2017.
In the breakdown, 50 % of total consumption belonged to industry, 29 % - to up-, mid-, and downstream needs, and 21 % - to households and utilities needs.
Industry consumed 630 mil cbm, that is 43 mil cmb (or 6.5 % ) less than in July of 2017. The metallurgy increased their consumption to 229 mil cbm (or +17 % than in July of 2017), while chemical industry used 119 mil cbm (or - 35 % than in July of 2017), and cement producers consumed only 2 mil cbm ( or - 14 % than in July of 2017).
The nation’s households, utilities, and public entities in July of 2018 consumed together 273 mil cbm (or - 11 % than in July of 2017).
For July 2018 up-, mid-, and downstream operational needs, the Ukrtransgaz, the Ukrgasvydobuvannya, and other domestic oil& gas producers used 373 mil cbm, that was 65 mil cbm (or + 21%) more than in July of 2017.
