UGV to drill 6 wells at Buzivska and Berestyanska sections on PSA terms

UGV intends to carry out the activity provided by the drafts of production sharing agreements (PSAs), ie the sharing of hydrocarbons that will be produced within the Buzivska (Kharkiv region) and Berestyanska (Lviv region) sections. It was reported in the register of the EIA on December 6, 2019.

According to the registry, geological exploration is planned for both areas, including the drilling of prospecting, exploration and production wells and the construction of a hydrocarbon treatment plant, with further wells’ connection to it.

During the geological exploration phase, three-dimensional seismic survey (3D), processing and interpretation of results and drilling of 3 exploration wells at each area are planned. According to this, the planned activity consists in the acquisition of geological data for State Information Geological Fund of Ukraine SE, based on the well drilling, testing, and production.

Then a decision will be taken on a plan of action for further development of the fields. PSAs within these license areas will be executed according to the Government Order On Determining The Winners Of Competitions For The Conclusion Of HC PSA dated July 5, 2019, No. 507-p.
