UGV plans to build 4 wells at the Lypovetske gas field
Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC, represented by Lvivgasvydobuvannya Gas Production Division (GPD), plans to construct and complete the exploration wells #3, 4, 5, 6 at the Lypovetske gas field (GF) in the Lviv region. This was reported in the unified EIA register on September 14, 2020.
It is planned to drill wells up to 1,090m deep, using a drilling rig with a capacity of up to 5,000 kW, and a rotary and turbine method. In the case of commercial gas inflow, it is planned to hook-up the wells (#3, 4, 5, and 6 of Lypovetske GF) and lay gas flowlines up to 3,000 m long to the GTP.
Works on the planned activities will be carried out by the company own forces, namely, specialists of the Lvivgasvydobuvannya GPD.
Expected volumes of natural gas production range from 10 tcm/day to 15 tcm/day from each well.
Recall that in October 2018, UGV won an open auction of the State Service for Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine for a mineral rights licence for Lypovetska area UAH 15 million worth.
All necessary geological exploration works were carried out on the specified area. So, in February 2020, the first exploration well was completed and hydraulic fracturing was performed in it, and in March it was already put into pilot development.
