The supply of American coal will allow Centrenergo to put up for sale 300 MW of base load
The contract for the supply of coal from the American company Hamilton mine (U.S.A.) in the amount of 375000 tons for the needs of the PJSC Centrenergo will allow the latter to sell a base load of 300 MWh during October 2021 - March 2022, as announced on August 30 by the press center of the PJSC Centrenergo.
"An auction for the sale of a limited amount of electricity - up to 300 MWh on the base schedule - is nominated on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEEX) on September 3 and September 6, 2021. The PJSC Centrenergo will hold these auctions will be the first time out of the Ukrainian power generating to l add an option to guarantees for the sale of the contracted amount of electricity without the possibility of reducing it due to technical necessity," the company said.
Under the option nominated by the PJSC Centrenergo on the UEEX, payment for the auctioned electricity will be made in phases of 5 days before deliveries.
