The Pyriatynskiy Delikates held its first auction for the sale of natural gas on the UEEX

On July 7, 2020, The Pyriatynskiy Delikates LLC held its first auction for the sale of natural gas on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange.

The company put up for sale 200 tcm of their Underground Gas Storage-booked resources with transfer in July 2020 at a starting price of 3 660 UAH/tcm on prepayment terms, but did not find buyers at acceptable prices.

“In any case, for us it is a positive experience of working on the UEEX. We strive to work openly and not to be “in the shadows”, which is facilitated by open trades on the UEEX. Today, the winner is the one who offers a lower price, and the one who works openly,” the company representative told ExPro.

The company then added that they had in their portfolio both imported and Ukrainian natural gas.

The company’s representative also added that the company’s first clients are the enterprises of the Pyriatynskiy Delikates group, which they focus on. In the future, the company plans to fully cover the group’s own needsin natural gas, as well as sell gas to other co-located companies. At the same time, the company is ready to sell gas to anyone, either end users or traders.

The Pyriatynskiy Delikates LLC is a producer of frozen semi-finished products and ice cream. The founder of the Pyriatynskiy Delikates LLC is the BEVERLIFE from UK, as directed by Rafael Ananyan, and with the final beneficiary is Andranik Isakovych Velyan, a resident of Armenia.

In March 2020, the Pyriatynskiy Delikates LLC began imports of natural gas, with more than 40 mcm of natural gas brough into Ukraine, having bought those volumes from SGAS, a company registered in Slovakia by Yuri Polishchuk.
