SE Market Operator for 9 months of 2021 increased net profit by 10 times - up to UAH 49 million

The state enterprise SE Market Operator increased its net profit for 9 months of 2021, compared to the same period last year, 10 times - up to UAH 49.9 million.

According to the Market Operator, net income for 9 months of 2021 amounted to UAH 211 million, which is 35% for this period in 2020. At the same time, administrative expenses decreased by 16% to UAH 91.9 million.

Regarding operating expenses, in total for 9 months of the current year, they amounted to UAH 151.5 million, of which UAH 84 million were labor costs. In particular, for 9 months of 2021, 9% more was spent on wages than in the same period of 2020.

As noted in the state enterprise, for 9 months of 2021 on the site of the SE Market Operator sold 24.129 million MWh as day-ahead electricity for a total of UAH 45.969 billion. During this period, 4.19 million MWh were sold in the intraday electricity market for a total of UAH 7.74 billion.

During this period, fixed assets were put into operation for UAH 2 million and modernized for UAH 399 000. Intangible assets were introduced for a total of UAH 5.77 million, modernized by UAH 256 000.

In particular, the software “Working Papers SmartSync Software - Ukrainian version with Financial Uk configuration file” was received free of charge from Tetra Tech ES, Inc. For 9 months of 2021, the state-owned enterprise paid UAH 139.6 million to the budgets of various levels.
