Purchase and sale of natural gas at UEE increased by 82% to 240 million m3 in 9 months
Purchase and sales at UEE grew by 82% to 240 million m 3 of natural gas per 3 quarters of the current year. It is described in company`s official report on 4 October 2019.
"In 9 months of 2019, 240 m3 of natural gas were sold at the Ukrainian Energy Exchange", - the report says.
Ukrainian Energy Exchange noted that the most active bidding took place in the third quarter. Because of entering the Ukrainian Energy Exchange the largest player in the market - Naftogaz of Ukraine, namely its subsidiary Naftogaz Trading, which sold about 100 m3 of of natural gas at the exchange.
Most of the participants were Ukrainian Oil and Gas prodaction and upstream companies. Large state-owned companies, gas suppliers and traders were sold natural gas.
A total of 148 trading sessions were held during the current year, 22 of which were held in September. In 9 months of 2019, compared to the same period last year, the number of natural gas sold at Ukrainian Energy Exchange increased by 82%. It is also important to note, that for the 9 months of 2019, the number of participants increased by 113 to 280 companies .
