NEURC’s decisions recovered price of day-ahead electricity up to 916.06 UAH/MWh
After price cap set by the National Energy and Utilities Regulation Commission (NEURC), the price of day-ahead electricity RDN in the the Integrated Power System of Ukraine increased by 81%, up to 916.06 UAH/MWh
The NEURC did it at its emergency meeting on July 4, 2021. Thus minimum price cap at 734.9 UAH/MWh for day-ahead electricity on July 6, 2021, in the Integrated Power System of Ukraine, compared to July 5, 2021, increased by 81%, up to 916.06 UAH/MWh.
According to the SE Market Operator, on July 6, 2021, the total supply amounted to 102400 MWh, versus demand of 518000 MWh. A day before, on July 5, 2021, the volume of supply and demand were at the same level.
Reportedly, the baseload price as of July 6, 2021, was at 861.29 UAH/MWh, the peak load was priced at 786.96 UAH/MWh, and the off-peak load was quoted at 935.62 UAH/MWh. During 01:00-17:00 consumption, hourly prices for day-ahead electricity in the Integrated Power System kept at the level of the lower price cap.
