NEURC raised price caps for day-ahead and intraday electricity in the Integrated Power System of Ukraine

The National Energy and Utilities Regulation Commission (NEURC) increased the maximum marginal prices for day-ahead and intraday electricity the Integrated Power System of Ukraine for daytime hours (07: 00-23: 00) up to 2655.99 UAH/MWh , for nighttime hours (23: 00-07: 00) - up to 1243.71 UAH/MWh.

The new price caps will take effect from June 18, 2021.

The relevant corresponding decision was made at the NEURC’s weekly meeting on June 16, 2021.

As earlier reported by ExPro, prior to the latest NEURC’s decision, price caps for daytime and nighttime day-ahead and intraday electricity in the Integrated Power System of Ukraine was at 2048.23 UAH/MWh and 1228.94 UAH/MWh, respectively. In the Burshtyn TPP Energy Island, marginal prices were not adjusted by the NEURC.
