NEURC licensed Hong Kong's Hero Asia to operate a 76.5 MW wind farm
The National Energy and Utilities Regulation Commission (NEURC) has issued a license for electricity generation to Yuzhne Energy, which operates a 76.5 MW wind farm, and is founded by the Hong Kong investment fund Hero Asia Investment Limited. The relevant decision was made at a meeting on August 6, 2021.
According to the NEURC, the wind farm is located in the Lyman district of Odessa region.
The planned average annual electricity generation is 262,500 MWh per year. The station will have 17 wind turbines with a capacity of 4.5 MW each. According to Bloomberg, the investment fund from Hong Kong was founded in 1993.
According to CBonds, Hero Asia Investment Limited in 2020 issued Eurobonds worth $ 300 million, at 1.5% with a maturity of November 2023.
At the end of July 2021, the S&P Global Ratings reaffirmed the issuer's international rating at BBB + with a stable outlook.
