Naftogaz of Ukraine put into operation a solar power plant with a capacity of 33 MW
NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine has put into operation a solar power plant with a capacity of 33 MW, which is located in the village Chudnove, Zhytomyr region. This is evidenced by the published data of the NEURC.
It is planned that the plant will produce 36.5 thousand MWh per year. During the construction of the station, photovoltaic modules with installed unit power of 430 W, produced by Znshine PV-Tech Co., were used, as well as inverters manufactured by Huawei.
As reported by ExPro agency, in December 2019, the chairman of the management board of Naftogaz, Andriy Kobolyev, said that the company plans to develop solar and bioenergy. In early July 2020, a subsidiary of Naftogaz, Naftogaz - Energoservice, built and put into operation a solar power plant with a capacity of 0.99 MW in the Kharkiv region.
