Naftogaz has upgraded the gas pipeline between two fields to Khrestyschenska BCS

Naftogaz has upgraded its surface infrastructure to more efficiently produce gas from depleted fields. Thus, in January, a new gas pipeline was put into operation. It connects Chutivske and Rozpashnivske fields, the press service of the Naftogaz Exploration and Production Division reports.

As a result of the new gas pipeline launch, an additional 150 tcm were received per day.

An innovative approach and an optimal contracting strategy were applied for the construction of the facility. Therefore, an 18.8 km long gas pipeline and the entire necessary infrastructure were built in 8 months.

The total throughput capacity of the new gas pipeline is 500 tcm per day. It will provide gas supply for compression and integrated treatment to the Khrestyschenska booster compressor station. Naftogaz also noted that expanding the bottlenecks in the surface infrastructure is the necessary solution to stabilize production.

ODESA OFFSHORE CONFERENCE-2019 Ukraine has every chance to resume the work of the most promising oil and gas region, the Southern oil&gas fields. The untapped deposits of oil and gas are located both onshore and subsea. Four companies have already poised to conclude Production Sharing Agreements with Ukraine, whilst bidding for the Dolphin oil&gas fields on Black Sea shelf. The Odesa Offshore Conference (OOC2019) will serve as a venue for Ukrainian and international bidders to meet with local and international drilling, oilfield service and equipment manufacturers to kick-off emerging subsea and onshore projects in Ukraine.
