Naftogaz Group bought 50% voting share in Nadra Yuzivska

The Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) is considering a concentration case of acquisition by the Naftogaz Group of a 50% voting share in the authorized capital of the Nadra Yuzivska LLC .

The Nadra Yuzivska LLC was established in 2012 to participate in the PSA project on the Yuzivska oil&gas acreage. Since 2016 the sole shareholder was the Private Joint - Stock Company National Joint - Stock Company Nadra Ukrayny. Nadra Yuzivska шn 2015, with the Shell leaving the PSA, the Nadra Yuzivska LLC legally succeeded the 100% of the rights in the project. That is, through the acquisition of the Nadra Yuzivska, the Naftogaz Ukrainy will be able to gain control over the Yuzivska oil&gas acreage.

This concentration in its form is a vertical integration of the entity. With this concentration, the NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine will be able to take over the market by increasing its own production of natural gas and oil.

For the purpose of full and objective consideration of the case, we call on everyone for any relevant information, comments, and suggestions related to the AMCU's decision on the merits
