Nadra Ukrainy NJSC lost its license in the Ivano-Frankivsk region

On November 25, the Kyiv District Administrative Court recognized legal the refusal of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil to extend the special permit for the subsidiary of Nadra Ukrainy NJSC, Zakhidukrgeologia, for Volosyanske gas field in Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Chair of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine Roman Opimakh stated that the license was revoked from Nadra Ukrainy through no politics or Derzhheonadra, but under a court decision. He stated this at a presentation of the atlas of the subsoil user.

It should be noted that on December 4, the CEO of Naftogaz of Ukraine, Andriy Kobolyev, stated: “There is no strong and independent supervisory board in Nadra Ukrainy. Therefore, it is likely that their permits can simply be stolen. I hope that the new management of Derzhheonadra will intervene in this situation and help resolve it,” Kobolyev said.
