Moldovatransgaz studies demand for additional GTS capacity

Moldova Gas Transmission System (GTS) Operator, Moldovatransgaz LLC, has started studying the demand among the market participants for the allocation of capacities in the direction Ukraine-Moldova-Ukraine at the entry/exit points Grebeniki and Caushan, through which the Ananyiv-Tiraspol-Izmail, Rozdilne-Izmail, Shebelynka-Dnipropetrovsk-Kryvyi Rih -Izmail, and Oleksiivka point.

This was reported by the press-service of the GTS Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU). According to the results of the market research, Moldovatransgaz will be able to make a decision on the future procedure of capacity allocation for the specified points, to plan costs and investments, and to predict the gas transportation tariff.

Today the capacities of up to 30 billion cubic meters per year remain unused in the connection point Orlivka/Isaccea.

Moldovatransgaz will study the received power requests till April 15, 2020 and will publish the results of the estimation before April 30, 2020.
