Guaranteed Buyer received only 61% data on renewable generators' daily outputs
The State Enterprise "Guaranteed Buyer", which has to redeem all electricity produced from renewable energy sources from the 1st of July under the “green” tariff, has received data on the hourly production schedule from only a part of producers, or 60.5% of the total output of renewable energy output.
According to the website of the Guaranteed Buyer, today 398 renewable power producers are sold on the market under the "green" tariff, of which 310 companies have access to the "Guaranteed Buyer software platform. So far, only 115 renewable power producers have submitted their hourly daily charts for the intraday release of green electricity.
"The share of electricity volumes the Guaranteed Buyer receives from these 115 renewable power producers under the "green" tariff is 60.5% (as of June 1, 2019 - 53.1%) out of the total volumes of the nation’s power ", the message says.
It is also noted that in the near future the Guaranteed Byer will publish on its website information about the start of the conclusion of agreements with renewable power generating companies.
In addition, the Guaranteed Buyer has been registered in the test e-platform for Market Management Systems (MMS as a market participant to trade in intraday and day-ahead electricity starting June 27, 2019.
"Among the main problems that arise for the Guaranteed Buyer in the test e-trading transactions is the lack of commercial metering data and costs of imbalances from the settlement administrator, which the latter must provide to the Guaranteed Buyer in accordance with the Market Rules, while accounting for each generating unit participating in the balancing of "green" tariff producers ", added the company in their statement.
As earlier reported by ExPro, on June 25, the NKREKP state regulator granted a license issued to the Guaranteed Buyer to operate in a new electricity market.
