GTSOU for the first time sold on the on the RBP its capacity at the entrance to the Ukrainian GTS

On July 6, 2020, the Gas TSO of Ukraine (GTSOU) for the first time sold on the on the Hungarian Regional Booking Platform (RBP) its capacity at the entrance to the Ukrainian GTS. This became known from the results of the auctions held.

The Natural gas cross-border interconnector capacities at all points were offered for the period one gas year - from October 1, 2020 until September 30, 2021.

The GTSOU sold about 7.6 mcm per day of capacity to enter the Ukrainian GTS at the interconnection “Budince” (Slovakia) at the price of 5.34 $/tcm. The initial declared volume at the interconnection point “Budince” was at 24.3 mcm per day.

The GTSOU also sold the incterconnection capacities on the border with Moldova - 120 tcm per day in both directions: the entrance to the Ukrainian GTS and the exit.

Earlier, the Head of Business Development of GTSOU Andriy Prokofiev noted that greater demand from customers of transportation services is expected for quarterly and monthly capacity, which will be offered later.

On July 20, 2020, the GTSOU will hold auctions of intermittent annual interconnection capacities for the 2020-2021 gas year. Free intermittent capacity will be offered, including for imports from Poland, Hungary, and additional capacity for imports from Slovakia at the Uzhhorod / Veľké Kapušany connection point.
