Geoinform published 4,300 SCR protocols
The State Geological Information Fund of Ukraine, with the support of Derzhheonadra, continues to publish the protocols of the State Committee for Reserves (SCR), which started in April 2020 on the official website of the enterprise. This is reported by the press service of the Derzhheonadra.
According to the report, 4,262 documents were posted in the public domain. The publication of the protocols is performed within the framework of the “open door” policy in the field of subsurface use, declared by the government. Derzhheonadra believes that this will allow regulating the interaction between the owners, managers of geological and physical research and legal entities that are engaged in production and subsoil study. And they are convinced that the liberalization of the access to geological data will have a positive effect on attracting investment in the development of Ukraine’s subsoil.
“Simplifying access to geological data is an important condition for improving the investment climate and restoring confidence in the State Geological Service,” Roman Opimakh, its Chair, commented. – “We allow a market entity assessing the quality of available geological data on objects, use it and make an investment decision. The easier it is for the investor to make a decision, the easier and more transparent it is to access the results of geological and physical research. Then we will be able to attract more investors to Ukrainian production.”
