For the first time ever private company sell electricity at the Ukrainian Energy Exchange

The Ukrainian private trader Energyx LLC sold electricity at the Ukrainian Energy Exchange. It was the first time when a private company had made exchange electricity sale deal in Ukraine.

In accordance with the results published on the exchange’s website, the company vended 168 MWh base load electricity for the average price at the rate 1639 hrn/MWh (VAT excluded).

The strike price was lower than the starting rate by 3.8% and stood at 1703 hrn/MWh. The trader put up for sale 1680 MWh base load electricity, but the company managed to sell only one-tenth of the total volume. The electricity should be supplied during July 1218, 2019.

As ExPro reported, Energyx LLC put up for sale 9.1 thousand MWh peak load for 2350 hrn/MWh on August 1, 2019. However, the bargain didn’t come off because of the high price.
