ERU acquired a company that has a license for gas production in Lviv region
The managing partners of the group of companies Energy Resources of Ukraine, Yaroslav Mudry and Dale Perry on December 4, 2019 were registered as ultimate beneficiary owners of 51% and 49% respectively of Carpathian Industrial Group 2014 LLC (Rozhnyativ village, Ivano-Frankivsk region), which in 2015 received a permit for geological exploration and further oil and gas production at Biblivska area in Mostysky and Starosambir districts of Lviv region.
This is confirmed by data from the Unified Register of Legal Entities. Mr. Mudry is also appointed a director of the Carpathian Industry Group 2014 LLC.
Burproekt LLC 2018 has developed a design project for exploration drilling at Biblivska area for drilling of four exploration wells with a depth from 3,150 m to 4,000 m.
According to ERU, on December 9, 2019, Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) and ERU Management Services (US parent company of ERU Group) signed an agreement on joint activity on exploration and production of hydrocarbons on the license area located in Lviv area near the Polish border. The agreement provides for the drilling of an exploration well with a depth of 2,500 m and the geophysical studies to design the next wells’ location.
According to an ExPro’s source, familiar with the details of the agreement, the Polish partners intend to drill about 60 wells in Poland.
