Energoatom looks for sofware to trade in emerging national power market

Energoatom State Nuclear Energy Company has announced a tender for procurement of software for intra-day trading in electricity in the emerging national power market, that is expected to be launched the next year in Ukraine. This tender announcement was published by the company on the e-procurement portal zakupki.prom.ua.

The company is accepting bid proposals from October 19 until November 19, 2019. The bid auctioning session is scheduled for December 26, 2018. The tender guarantee fee is UAH 942.7 thousand. The software aftersale training and support services are expected to be provided until December 31, 2021. An interested software developer company shall have to provide credentials or other certificates testifying their experience in the field, any of their on-going contracts for installation and support services on ETRM (Energy trade and risk management) software as compliant to the requirements of ENTSO-E EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).

As reported earlier, Energoatom has created an affiliate company, Energoatom Trading, to carry out intra-day trading in electricity in the emerging national power market.

Currently, the newly established Energoatom Trading is directed by Mr. Sergiy Bedin. The new Ukrainian electricity market will include bilateral contract, intra-day, day-ahead, balancing and ancillary services.
