Energoatom increased electricity production by 7% in H1 of 2021, up to 42.1 billion kWh

The state-owned company NNEGC Energoatom increased electricity production in the first half of 2021 by 6.8%, compared to the same period in 2020, up to 42.1 billion kWh.

This was announced on July 22, 2021, by the NNEGC Energoatom press center.

Also, the company managed to reduce the term of planned and preventive repairs in the first half of 2021 to 14.8 days. During the same period last year, this figure was 75 days. According to the nuclear power company, this allowed generating an additional 1.6 billion kWh of electricity.

The NNEGC Energoatom added that during this period the volume of capital investments was increased by 40.2% up to UAH 5.1 billion.
