Endeavour will inspect drill pipes for UGV at UAH 23 million

Endeavour Ltd. won three lots of a tender of Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC for services for the drill pipes inspection, totalling UAH 23 million (VAT included). This is stated in the Ukrgasvydobuvannya announcement published on February 12 in the ProZorro public procurement system. The terms of service are until December 31, 2019.

The tender consists of three lots, each of which comprises services for inspection (non-destructive control) of 5000 joints of 127 mm drill pipes according to the DS-1 standard. There were two companies, which participated in the auctions of the tender for all three lots: Hilong Oil Service & Engineering Co. and Endeavour Ltd. The last one won in all three lots with the best offers.

According to Dmytro Prokhorenko, Business Development Manager at Endeavour, the competitors in the tender, the Chinese service company called Hilong Oil Service & Engineering Co., for the first time, participates in a tender for pipe inspection services without having the experience of such works in Ukraine. While Endeavour has been rendering these services since 2012 and it cooperates in this field with the most drilling, service and gas companies operating in Ukraine, including foreign Exalo, Schlumberger and Beiken. The equipment for electromagnetic inspection of pipes, which is one of the types of tender services, is available in Ukraine in only a few sets. "To provide services to all customers in connection with the growing demand, another electromagnetic unit has recently been purchased, and will be used for works under this tender," Mr. Prokhorenko said.
