DTEK poised to sell its mines and power plants

The DTEK Energo is ready to fully sell its mines and thermal power plants due to the transition to green energy.

This was stated in an interview held by Economichna Pravda newspaper with the General Director of the holding Maxim Timchenko.

"As a producer of electricity, the company focuses on "green" energy, and is ready to consider the sale of its mines and coal-fired power plants," said Timchenko. "If we have a demand for 10% of the portfolio of stations and mines, we will sell 10%. If it is 100%, we will sell 100%. But this is definitely not a sale. We will definitely take into account the social aspect and the interests of employees," Timchenko said.
